Welcome to the Epsom and Ewell French Club
We meet every 3d Tuesday of the month, in Bourne Hall (studio room), Spring street, Ewell, KT17 1UF.

How to get to Bourne Hall
By bus: Buses No 418, 467 and 293 stop near the Hall
By train: Ewell West station is less than 250 metres away from the Hall
By car: Bourne Hall has a large car park
Saint Mary The Virgin is near Bourne Hall
The Spring Tavern pub is a few steps away
History
The club was founded on 1st January 2019 by Colette Burch-Avarre and Norman Shipley.
Unfortunately, Norman passed away in December 2019, so Colette is now the one in charge of organizing meetings and lectures, with Peter Prowse and Christine Rippon's help.

The annual membership costs £50 and gives access to 10 lectures given in French on a variety of subjects.
For non-members, the cost per meeting/lecture is 10£ if the event takes place in Bourne Hall.
Members and non-members can also attend lectures offered by other French circles via Zoom. The cost per lecture is 5£.
All lectures are in French. They are given mostly by native and professional French speakers and are well illustrated.
